macOS has a longstanding problem: it doesn't remember where your windows go. Disconnect a monitor, wake from sleep, or switch desks, and every window shuffles into a pile. WinPin fixes that and a lot more.
What it does
WinPin runs in your menu bar and tracks every window's position, size, and display. When your monitors reconnect, windows return to where they were automatically.
Beyond restore, WinPin provides a spatial organizer for bird's-eye window management, a quick switcher with fuzzy search, 40 tile zones for snapping windows into layouts, and workspaces for saving named arrangements.
Why we built it
We use multi-monitor Mac setups every day. The constant window rearrangement was a productivity drain that none of the existing tools fully solved. WinPin started as a fix for the sleep shuffle problem and grew into a complete rethinking of how window management should work on macOS.
